automobile for entry into the Carmel Artomobilia 2012.
Dear Car Enthusiasts, Collectors and Sponsors -
Nominations are now open for the fifth annual Carmel Artomobilia taking place on Saturday, August 25th, 2012 Noon to 5pm in the Carmel Arts & Design District.
On behalf of the Mayor of Carmel and the Director of the Arts & Design District, you are invited to participate in the Carmel Artomobilia. The show will build on our four previous years, focusing on celebration of the art and design of the automobile. Galleries, restaurants and design houses in the district will join with collector car owners and enthusiasts present a display of automotive design on wheels and on canvas.
To nominate your vehicle for a place in the show, please choose the "Automotive Exhibitor" ticket from above and complete the associated form (a class list and event map featured below). In addition, you may download the forms here and complete and fax your application to 1.877.313.5220 or mail it to Carmel Artomobilia, 200 South Rangeline Road, Suite 219, Carmel, Indiana 46032.
Nomination forms should be received no later than July 15th, 2012, we will contact you on receipt of your nomination form to confirm your attendance and in which class your car will be displayed.

Specialty Classes
The 2012 Carmel Artomobilia, presented on Saturday, August 25th in the Carmel Arts & Design District, located in Carmel, Indiana, will feature the following marques and special classes:
FM: Featured Marque - Jaguar - This year's featured mark is Jaguar, and will feature original, period-correct automobiles from 1938 to present.
EM: Emeritus - This class features exclusively past year's best of show winners across all makes, models and years.
TN: Then & Now - This class features original, period-correct models, both its past model alongside its present model. Examples include the classic 50's Volkswagen Beetle and the late model Beetle.
SC: Shelby Cars - This class features original, period-correct cars built by and/or influenced by Carroll Shelby from the 50's to the present day, including his influence on the Ford GT.
NG: Next Generation - This class features a cross-setion of cars, all years, makes and models, that are owned by individuals 18 years or younger. The purpose of this class is to provide a forum for the next generation of car enthusiasts and collectors.
Traditional Classes
The following traditional classes highlight a broad cross-section of automotive design.
A: Ford Model A - This class features original or restored, period-correct models.
AC1: American Coupe/Sedan - This class features original or restored, period-correct American coupe or sedan models produced from 1925 – 1954.
AC2: American Coupe/Sedan - This class features original or restored, period-correct American coupe or sedan models produced from 1955 – 1973.
ASC1: American Sports Cars - This class features original or restored, period-correct American sports car models produced from 1948 – 1959.
ASC2: American Sports Cars - This class features original or restored, period-correct American sports car models produced from 1960 – 1973.
ASC3: American Sports Cars - This class features original or restored, period-correct American sports car models produced from 1974 – 2012.
EC: European Coupe/Sedan - This class features original or restored, period-correct European coupe or sedan models produced from 1925 – 1973.
ESC1: European Sports Cars (British) - This class features original or restored, period-correct British sports car models produced from 1925 – 1960.
ESC2: European Sports Cars (British) - This class features original or restored, period-correct British sports car models produced from 1961 – 1973.
ESC3: European Sports Cars (Other) - This class features original or restored, period-correct non-British sports car models produced from 1925 – 1973.
EX: Exotic - This class features original or restored, period-correct, low-production or rare sports car models produced from 1974 – 2012.
FCC: Full Classics (Closed) - This class, as defined by the CCCA, includes "closed top" original or restored, period-correct fine or unusual motor cars which were produced from 1925 – 1948.
FCO: Full Classics (Open) - This class, as defined by the CCCA, includes "open top" original or restored, period-correct fine or unusual motor cars which were produced from 1925 – 1948.
GT: Grand Touring - This class features original or restored, period-correct, grand touring 2-door models produced from 1974 – 2012.
HP: Historically Preserved Original Vehicles - This class, as defined by the CCCA, includes un-restored, period-correct open or closed automobiles produced between 1925 – 1948.
IB: Indiana Built Full Classics - This class, as defined by the CCCA, includes original or restored, period-correct open or closed automobiles produced in the state of Indiana between 1925 – 1948.
MP1: Muscle - This class features original or restored, period-correct, muscle car models produced from 1964 – 1974.
MP2: Muscle - This class features original or restored, period-correct, muscle car models produced from 1975 – 2012.
RA: Racers - This class features original or restored, period-correct, non-street-legal, race cars campaigned from 1908 – 2012. No replicas/recreations please.
SU: Super Cars - This class features original or restored, period-correct, high-performance sports car models produced from 1974 – 2012.
VH: Vintage Hot Rods - This class features original or restored, period-correct, traditional hot rods initially customized/built between 1940 – 1960.
The organizers reserve the right to re-assign exhibits to an alternative (relevant) class to ensure the fairest possible distribution of cars across classes.
